I love Taco Bell. LOVE IT! It’s a problem.

In fact, now that it’s on my mind I’ll probably have trouble fighting off the desire to pick up some for dinner tonight. And then fighting off the same urge at 2 am. But, with a little help from today’s recipe, I should be able to satisfy the craving and still stay on track.

I especially enjoy the sauce Taco Bell puts on their quesadillas and bean, cheese, & rice burritos. It might be the very reason I keep going back. So, I set out to create a copycat sauce that wouldn’t break my HCG diet. It has taken a few tries, but man, it was worth it!

I use it to spice up chicken, add some flavor to my tacos with cauliflower tortillas (recipe coming soon), and pretty much any other Mexican dish. I know you guys will like it too.

It only takes a few ingredients and it’s super easy to make. You’ll need Xylitol and Fat-Free Mayo. If you are on the Paleo diet or any other diet that is not low fat, use a good fat mayo like Primal Kitchen Mayo made with Avocado Oil.

There is really only one step. Measure out all of your ingredients and dump them directly into your food processor. Then blend them right up! Sure, you can use a blender if you don’t have a food processor, but you can get the sauce a lot smoother with a food processor.

  • 1/2 Cup Fat Free Mayo For the Paleo diet, use a good fat mayo such as Primal Kitchen Mayo made with Avocado Oil.
  • 2 Tbsp Diced Jalapenos
  • 1/2 tsp Xylitol or preferred sugar free sweetner
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1/4 tsp Red Cayenne Pepper
  • 1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
  • Dash Salt


  1. Dump all ingredients together in a food processor (or blender if you don't have one). Blend until the sauce is as smooth as desired.
